I've been stuck in a rut with what to make lately. I went through a phase of making baby blankets but if i have to chain something like 170 one more time i think i will go crazy. Soooo in my quest to find something quick and cute to make i stumbled across a free pattern for this little guy.

I discovered amigurumi almost exactly 2 years ago. I already loved crocheting, but this just took it to a whole new level. With so many wonderful things that could be made, I was in heaven!! Hi everyone!

Does anyone have any tips / advice / websites / experience that would help in the translation of Japanese Amigarumi (try saying that word 10 times fast) patterns to an English only speaking crocheter? I have access to quite a few books but haven't even given them a second look because they're in Japanese.

Hi all! I recently purchased a Japanese Amigurumi pattern book. I was wondering how exactly you read the picture patterns inside. I can muddle my way through translating but I'm curious about all the XXXs. Does anyone have a good resource for understanding how they are set up? I purchased the book "Sweets"
